Balox is a biostimulant that offers an innovative mechanism of action against salt stress, promoting root dynamics with a rapid response velocity at the root. It is a complementary product to agronomic management, becoming an effective solution when salt concentrations in soil and irrigation water are high.

Regarding recommended doses, Dr. Javier Zuzunaga, European project leader at Innovak Global, states they have used applications of 2 l/ha to 4 l/ha, regardless of the crop. For horticultural crops such as tomato, lettuce, onion, watermelon, and strawberries, application is recommended from transplanting, every fifteen days. For fruit trees such as table grape, avocado, and citrus, application is made during peak root flow moments.

Balox works effectively alongside other Innovak Global products. It regulates the entry of sodium and chlorides from roots to the aerial part of the plant and facilitates the expulsion of salts at the root level. Innovak Global also has Promesol, a soil conditioner that helps form aggregates, improving soil physical structure. Balox and Promesol act synergistically: while Balox protects the root, Promesol improves the soil by facilitating salt leaching.
