Proper soil management is essential to optimize grapevine growth and production. At Finca Las Estrellas, compaction problems and deficient root development were identified, affecting productivity and harvest quality. The implementation of Innovak Global biostimulants aimed to improve these conditions by promoting root activity and optimizing soil physicochemical properties.
The demonstration was conducted on 2 hectares of Malbec grapevines. Three doses of Innovak Global biostimulants were applied through the irrigation system. Results showed root depth reaching up to 41.03 cm with Innovak treatment, compared to 21.07 cm with conventional management. The number of clusters per plant increased by 1.72 additional units, translating to a 38.7% productivity increase, with total harvest reaching 28,210 kg - 7,880 kg more than conventional management.
The cost-benefit analysis showed a return of 17.5 pesos for every peso invested. Root biostimulation with Innovak Global resulted in significant improvements in soil structure, root development, and grapevine quality. These results demonstrate that optimizing soil management not only increases productivity but also improves producer profitability.
