The banana plant develops optimally in humid and warm tropical regions with continuous growth. The banana zone of Tabasco with 14,000 hectares is located in Teapa, a region in southeastern Mexico with a banana growing tradition of over 100 years, characterized by three distinct climatic periods: cold, dry, and rainy seasons that generate significant productivity variability.

Soil compaction affects root growth and can manifest as visible symptoms above ground. The physicochemical characteristics of the soil, as well as the nutritional and sanitary conditions in which banana roots develop, are vital for crop productivity. To achieve good nutrition, it is necessary to monitor and maintain optimal conditions for proper root development and activity.

ECCA Carboxy of the aromatic type promotes the biosynthesis of pectins that maintain cellular junctions, favors the translocation of calcium and boron from the formulation, and together strengthen the cell walls of fruit tissue. It also influences the production of waxes, pigments, and carbohydrates that favor greater firmness, extending shelf life and reducing post-harvest diseases.
